[VIDEO] HOW TO HAVE YOUR MOST PRODUCTIVE WEEK USING NOTION & A WEEKLY AGENDA

I’ve been using notion for just on two months now. And WOW! I have fallen in love with notes and organisation all over again. The first thing I implemented in Notion was a weekly agenda, to keep track of my week and basically to keep me on track.

I used Marie Poulin’s framework and then added some tweaks of my own. I've not been using it for just under 2 months and I'm still in love with it. One of the great things about having it as a database is that I can look back at each of the weeks and see what I accomplished (or not), what was going on, did I do my weekly review, etc.?

Sometime between Friday and Sunday I set about an hour a side to do my weekly review (ala David Allen Getting Things Done Method). Ideally it would be Friday, but usually it's Sunday night. With the weekly review it's fairly easy to get the review done these days because everything is there an easily accessible. As well as seeing a birdseye view of everything.

If you’re not familiar with a weekly review, it comes from David Allen’s book/productivity system ‘Getting Things Done’ or GTD for short. I’ve been following the GTD method for over 10 years and as much as I have taken parts of it and meshed it with other productivity systems, the Weekly Review has always remained. I feel like it's my compass, when the weeks get messy, I can always come back to the weekly review and reset ready for another week.
