Welcome To The 3x3 Edition 20
It's a bit of a long one today so... bear with...
I have some exciting news! This week I decided it's time to launch my Consumer 2 Creator COURSE 🎉. It's been 7 months in the making as I've refined my practices & tools. The course itself will be tool agnostic, which means you'll learn the principles so you can set it up in whichever system you choose. I'll also be including some bonus sessions on the three main tools for thought and creation Notion, Roam & Obsidian. It will be a self-paced course at this point with some pop-up live sessions.
Pre-Launch is going on sale TODAY and I want you to be the first in! Click here for all the details and to get your pre-launch special (If you have purchased Consumer 2 Creator Lab in the past, you should have already received an email with an extra special code).
✍️ 3 Things I've Created.
This week I wrote a thread about my new incremental journaling method that people thought was very interesting. If you suck at journaling as I did, then it might help you. Next, it was time to stop overthinking the creator life and focus on the fundamentals that really lead to growth. Finally, I wrote about the 5 Practices For Creating Content Effortlessly.
Also, this week I'm taking the #GetCenteredChallenge with my friends at my favourite new flow app - Centred. Every day I'll be getting into flow in the app to build my streak of deep work. If you want to get in flow too come join me! Click here to sign up.
💻 3 Things I Consumed.
To get your brain firing, here are some things I've read this week from around the internet that I've found interesting...
Article: How to make daily writing easy: Preparation, preparation, preparation
My friend Jason wrote this great article about how to make writing easy with some great practical tips on how preparation is the key to writing consistently.
Article: If a book can be summarized, is it worth reading?
This was a thought-provoking article from Austin Kleon about what makes a book worth reading. Is it the exact information that can be distilled into a neat book summary? Or is it the individual experience that you get from reading?
Book: The Runaway Species: How Human Creativity Remakes The World
I got around to opening this book up that's been on my Kindle shelf this week and it has not disappointed. A great read on how the brain works and why we humans innovate in the way we do by bending, breaking & blending what we know into completely new things.
🐦 3 Tweets I Bookmarked This Week
For the past 30 days I've been in an accountability group with my friend Samantha Demmers. It's been a fantastic experience being accountable to the goals we've set out. If you want to join, click the tweet below and come and be apart of it.
One of my favourite new shippers Anas wrote this essay on how to achieve greatness was truly wonderful.
I will literally never get tired of sharing tweets like this one from Nathan Rodgers. There is no shortcuts, just do the work.
