It's no accident that I've ended up becoming someone who writes daily.
You see I've been reading prolific writers since the early days of blogging on the internet. And the truth is I've always wanted to write. I've had a couple of false starts. My first blog was called Chameleon, my second was called She's A Geek my third was Pursuing Kaizen.
I've been inspired by some pretty prolific writers in that time. Here are my top five blogs of all time.
https://www.asianefficiency.com/ - These guys have been writing on the internet for 10 years. And inspired many of my thoughts about productivity in the early days.
https://www.43folders.com/ - Merlin Mann's blog about creativity, productivity & technology. He was a big GTD fan (hence 43 folders) and I read the blog religiously. It was my go to source when learning the GTD system.
https://seths.blog/ Need I say more. Quite frankly Seth is the king of daily writing and of marketing. His thinking is incredible and always gets me thinking.
https://www.brainpickings.org/ By Maria Popova - A wonderfully eclectic journey for the mind that I've been subscribed to for at least a decade. It's quite possibly my favourite part of any Sunday when it lands in my inbox.
https://www.macsparky.com/ - David Sparks talking all about Apple, technology and productivity has been a favourite of mine for years.
And you know what I love the most about each of these writers? They are all still writing or creating on the internet. Many for 10+ years. No wonder they have become such inspirations to me as I start my very early journey of writing daily on the internet.
